The Future of Peacekeeping, New Models and Related Capabilities, Launch of the Japanese version

Description:


  In October 2024, "The Future of Peacekeeping, New Models and Related Capabilities" was launched by the Independent Study Team (El-Ghassim Wang, Paul Williams and Ai Kihara Hunt), commissioned by the UN Department of Peace Operations, initiated by Germany, the host of the UN Peacekeeping Operations Ministerial Conference to be held on 13-14 May 2025. Research Center for Sustainable Peace translated the Study into Japanese. 


  This seminar is a launch event for the Japanese version of the Independent Study, and will have Mr. El-Gassim Wane, team leader of the Study team, and Professor Kihara-Hunt, author of the Study and responsible for the Japanese translation, as well as comments by experts and participants and a Q&A session.
