Soojin Lee
Research Assistant, PhD Candidate at the Human Security Program at The University of Tokyo
Soojin Lee is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Tokyo and a full-time Instructor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Alabama.
She holds a B.A. in Law from Soka University and an LL.M. from Temple University (U.S.). Her research focuses on international crimes, transitional justice, and refugee protection. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she served as a Protection Officer with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
In addition to her academic work, she holds an MFA in Buddhist Art and enjoys painting in her free time.
