COI Project is a pilot project to research country of origin information (COI) useful for refugee status determination.
COI Query is a query service provided mainly for the Refugee Examination Councelors. It was started in February 2013 as a pilot project collaborated with LexisNexis Japan.

Asylum Database is an online database programed by CDR to accumulate information on countries of origin as well as countries of asylum. While much of the publicly available information is in English and other languages, the Asylum database provides brief summary in Japanese to assist Japanese users. It was launched in September 2013 as COI Database in collaboration with Japan Lawyers Network for Refugees, and renamed Asylum Database in 2017 to reflect the wide range of information covered.
